January 16-17, 2009 at the Frederick Holiday Inn & Conference Center, Frederick, MD

Featuring keynote speaker Nina Planck, author of Real Food and the leading American expert on farmers’ markets and local food.  Preconference workshops will cover topics such as soil health and incorporating agritourism into your farming operation.  Conference sessions will include marketing, farming economics, grass-based systems, sustainable production of hay, grain, fruit, vegetables, and flowers, and more!

February 4-7, 2009 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in State College, PA

Featuring Raj Patel, a writer, activist, academic, author of Stuffed and Starved and Bernard W.
