Cove Run Farms |
|
Cove-Run Farms is located in the scenic Cove area of Garrett County Maryland. It is a working dairy farm consisting of a herd of approximately 120 milking registered Holsteins and another 150 heifers. Corn, oats, hay and speltz are grown on 450 acres. The land has been contoured to prevent soil erosion. Crops are rotated every 3 to 4 years. The farm can be seen from the scenic overlook on Rt. 219 just off I-68. |

Cove Run Farms Corn Maze Our 10 acre corn maze is one of the largest in Maryland and the only in Garrett County. New for 2008: Celebrate the national 4-H youth development program’s farm animal projects in our corn maze! Our corn maze is educational for all ages. We offer group discounts. Farm animals, picnic area, children’s play area, and more are available for your enjoyment. The maze is open August through October: (Call for opening date) Fridays & Saturdays noon - 9:00 pm Sundays 2:00 - 6:00 pm & Other times by appointment. |
