Buy Fresh, Buy Local, Live Well Logo Usage Policy For Producers: If you grow food or fiber products in or around Garrett County, and sell those products in and around Garrett County, you may use the logo on your products and in your farm promotions. For Retailers/Restaurants: If you purchase products from farmers in and around Garrett County and resell those products in and around Garrett County, you may use the logo on the products and in your business promotions. For Consumers: If you purchase products from farmers in and around Garrett County, or from retailers selling products from farmers in and around Garrett County, you may display the logo so others may be encouraged to do the same. Definition of “In and Around Garrett County:” Any county contiguous to Garrett County. These include: Allegany County, Maryland; Somerset County and Fayette County, Pennsylvania; Preston County, Grant County, Tucker County, and Mineral County West Virginia. Additional contiguous Counties may be added upon request. Misuse of the logo: At no time will you be allowed to display the logo on products not from farmers in and around Garrett County. If you are found to be displaying the logo on products not from farmers in and around Garrett County, you will be required to cease and desist all logo usage for a period of at least six (6) months. After that period of time, you may again reapply for logo usage. If you are found to be misusing the logo according to this policy again, you will be banned from using the logo indefinitely. Logo Customization: You may customize the logo with your farm name, farm address, state name, etc. To customize the logo, crop the name at the top or bottom of the logo, then add a text box. I agree to use the logo according to the provisions above, and if found to misuse the logo, will immediately cease and desist usage of the logo for the required amount of time.
