Our names are Dale & Heather Guthrie, we are the owners of DHT Nursery.
We are a small local greenhouse business in the Grantsville, MD area. We have a Frostburg address but we are located only 2 minutes from Hilltop Fruit Market, off of Rt 40 on Guthrie Lane. Or coming by I-68 get off Exit 24 at Lower New Germany Rd. Our address is 91 Guthrie Lane, Frostburg, MD 21532. Check out our Facebook page for further directions and a map link. We sell annuals: flowers, vegetable starts, mints, herbs; perennials: flowers, mints, herbs, trees, fruit bearing bushes. We will be having more annual hanging baskets, more perennial plants such as Blueberry bushes, Elderberry bushes, Ever-bearing Strawberry plants, flower bushes and much more coming this 2020 season. We like to offer different varieties and unusual new plants to try. We will have big variety of Sunflower plants for sale such as Teddy Bear, Lemon Queen, Velvet Queen, Skyscraper & Russian Mammoth, lots of different varieties of Tomatoes, Squashes, Peppers, and many other vegetable starts plus plenty of Mints & Herbs: Oregano, Rosemary, Dill, Basil, Fennel, Thyme, Lavender, Peppermint, Spearmint, etc. Our goal is to provide our customers with beautiful flowers for their flowerbeds to attract the bees and to beautify their porches, garden plants so they can enjoy fresh food out of their own gardens and so much more. We open for the season on May 9, 2020 - Mother's day weekend, and are usually open till the end of June. Then we close shop till around the middle August when we reopen with Fall Mums and more perennials. Our hours for the Spring season will be Monday-Wednesday 10am-7pm Thursday 2-7pm Friday 10-7pm Saturday 8am-3pm Sunday- Closed We will post our Fall hours come August.
