Yoder's Tomatoes
Tasty red and yellow hydroponic tomatoes are grown by Dan & Irene Yoder family on their farm south of Oakland. Spring onions, sweet onions, red beets, lettuce, cucumbers, and red raspberries are grown in season.
Tomatoes usually ripen middle to end of April and extend to late October. The farm is located at 2108 Pleasant Valley Road. From Oakland, take U.S. 219 (Garrett Highway) south about 2 miles to Paul Friend Road on the left. Travel 1 1/4 miles to Pleasant Valley Road. Turn left and travel 300 feet to the big red tomato sign. Make a right onto the gravel driveway.
